HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK? We recommend booking as soon as your wedding date is confirmed. Popular dates can fill quickly, especially during peak wedding season. A signed contract and deposit are required to officially reserve your date.
IS A BRIDAL TRIAL REQUIRED? Yes. A bridal trial is required for every bride and is booked separately from your wedding day services. The cost of the trial does not apply toward the bridal minimum. Your trial gives you and your stylist time to create and refine your look before the wedding day.
HOW SHOULD WE PREP OUR HAIR FOR THE WEDDING DAY? The bride and all bridal party members should arrive with freshly washed, completely dry hair with no product in it. Please avoid oils, serums, leave-in conditioners, dry shampoo, hairspray, or styling products. Clean, product-free hair gives your stylist the best foundation to prep your hair specifically for your chosen style. Hair must be completely dry on arrival, as blow dryers will not be used on site.
WHY IS THERE A MINIMUM PER STYLIST? Our minimum is based on the time each stylist reserves exclusively for your wedding. Bridal timelines require us to block a significant portion of the day, and the minimum ensures we can dedicate the appropriate number of stylists to your party while keeping your getting-ready timeline running smoothly.
DO YOU OFFER IN SALON BRIDAL SERVICES? Yes. Brides and bridal parties are welcome to have their wedding-day hair done at Birdcage Salon. There is no service minimum for in-salon weddings, making this a great option for smaller bridal parties or brides who only need a few services. All services must be scheduled in advance to ensure we have the appropriate stylists and timing reserved.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I SUBMIT MY BRIDAL INQUIRY? Once we receive your inquiry, our bridal coordinator will review your wedding date, location, party size, and requested services. We’ll confirm availability and send you the details for booking. Your wedding date is officially reserved once your contract is signed and the required deposit is received.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO RESERVE MY WEDDING DATE? A signed bridal contract and nonrefundable deposit are required to officially reserve your wedding date. Your date is not considered booked until both have been received. The deposit secures your date and the availability of the stylist or stylists assigned to your wedding.
CAN I CHANGE THE NUMBER OF SERVICES AFTER BOOKING? Your contracted service minimum will remain in place if your party size decreases. Additional services may require an additional stylist to maintain your wedding-day timeline and are subject to stylist availability. For this reason, we recommend confirming your party size as accurately as possible before booking.
WHAT IF MY WEDDING-DAY TIMELINE CHANGES? Please let us know as soon as possible if your getting-ready timeline or ceremony time changes. Your bridal schedule is created around the contracted services and stylists reserved for your wedding. Significant timeline changes may require adjustments to staffing and are subject to stylist availability.
WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE? A signed contract and 50% nonrefundable booking deposit are required to reserve your wedding date. The deposit is applied toward your service minimum or wedding-day services. The remaining balance for all contracted services is due on the wedding day.
