"For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to be a hairstylist. I believe it started with styling my barbies hair and eventually my little sisters. I was always fascinated going to the salon with my mom and standing as close as possible to see/“learn” what the stylist was doing. In the first grade I dressed up as a hairstylist for career day. I think my inner child would be amazed by how far I have come in this industry. ​I love how being a cosmetologist has allowed me to meet new people and connect with them through my passion. While making them feel beautiful, there is no better feeling than seeing my clients face light up when they see their new style. I love being able to enhance the hairs natural color and beauty to fit the clients needs/goals. ​Working at Birdcage Salon I have formed friendships that have turned into family and for that I’m truly gratefully. I enjoy coming to work each day and being surrounded by such supportive and caring people and being able to do what I LOVE!"​​~Allison
