"For as long as I can remember hair has been a part of my life. From giving my stuffed annimals haircuts, and sitting in the chair at the salon next to my mom while she would get highlights, to eventually testing and experimenting, (To my parents surprise) on myself. I've always been fascinated by beauty so when I enrolled in cosmetology school in Johnson County straight after high school I knew it was the right choice.

​

After working three years with a franchise salon and becoming proficient as a stylist by working directly with clients as well as continuing my education courses in Mens Hair Trends in 2016. I was ready to move to a more advanced level.

​

It was also around this time when I found myself in a chair at Birdcage Salon. With such hard working and happy people I knew working here would the perfect fit! Working at the Birdcage Salon has really inspired me to be the best that I can be. Hair dressing to me is not a job, it is a craft and at Birdcage I am encouraged to be creative and given the freedom to use my own knowledge and judgement to give each client the best results possible, every time."
